Congregation B’nai Abraham |
Since the burial of Sheva Musha in 1894, the Congregation has always considered our Memorial Gardens / Cemetery a Sacred Trust. Accordingly, we have always attempted to maintain the grounds with utmost care. |
The upkeep of our hallowed grounds has been made possible by charitable gifts and income from our Perpetual Care Trust Fund which enables us to continue this honorable work. However, some desired tasks are so time-consuming and laborious , that they are never performed nor covered by Perpetual Care . One such job is the cleaning of our beloved tombstones and grave-markers. |
Two years ago, we laid to rest a lifelong beloved member , Elly Koerner Lyon. Those of us who knew and loved her, miss her very much. One of those dear friends, Bob Rosen, has performed a real Mitzvah by cleaning some of our oldest and most needy headstones in Elly’s honor, and has offered to clean your grandparents, parents, other family members or friends headstones for a $30 donation / stone to Congregation B'nai Abraham in Elly’s loving memory.
